Dr. Elaine's inspiration to specialize in Endodontics starts with complexity. Most dentists find root canal treatment quite challenging. But she loves to do procedures that are considerably demanding, yet certain to achieve the desired results in the end. For her, it's both rewarding and fulfilling. On the other hand, Dr. Elaine sees Periodontics as another engaging specialization. She believes that proper patient education coupled with the appropriate periodontal procedures can greatly alleviate her patients’ dental problems. To accurately address every patient’s dental crisis, she pursued Periodontology Enhancement Course at the University of the Philippines.

Dr. Alfonso-Asuncion reinstates her patients’ fractured, weak or decayed teeth through Biomimetic Dentistry.
